- All single quotes replaced with nothing.
- All non-letter or digit characters are removed.
- All non-utf-8 characters are replaced with utf-8 equivalents.
- Unusual characters removed.
- Duplicate spaces removed.
- Spaces replaced with dashes.
- All characters transformed to lowercase.
