What is the tool?

It is a simple free random mountain generator that you can use to explore the most impressive mountains on planet Earth.

To make this tool I gathered names of 307 of the world's mountains that are over 5000 meters in height (~16,000 feet). In doing so I also gathered its exact height, which country it is in and the range of mountains it is in as well as some other details like when it was first climbed.

This generator also features an image of each volcano showing just how amazing the highest peaks in the world are.
