What is this tool?
Adding line numbers to a list of items can be a lengthy task and will probably lead to human-error. Instead, you can use this line number generator which will automatically go through your text and add numbers to the beginning of each line in ascending order.
To use this tool, paste your list in the first box, select how each line in your list is separated (in most cases this will be by newlines, but colons, semi-colons and tabs are supported too) then select a line numbering style and click the generate button.
